A 7th Vlog, CHEEKS: THE GOOD, THE BAD, AND THE UGLY

I have just seen a couple of patients come through my door who have had a variety of fillers and fat put into their cheeks, who look less than ideal (I did not do their work!). Â In my latest vlog installment, I talk about how big cheeks is not my objective when I do fat grafting or fillers. Â That is what I am trying to avoid. Â Instead, I create a balanced look by gently augmenting the cheek IN BALANCE with the surrounding eyelid and areas below the cheeks. Â Just making a big cheek is ugly. Â That is why cheek implants fail. Â That is why throwing fat into the cheeks fails. Â Interestingly, cheeks done right can be the most important area for aesthetic facial rejuvenation and to make the eyes look less tired. Another Vlog on why I don’t like solid lip implants

There have been new solid lip implants recently on the market like Verafil. Â I put together this 4 minute video that explains in detail why I am opposed categorically to solid lip implants compared with temporary or permanent injectable agents. Â In a nutshell, they look and feel unnatural in my opinion. Â Watch the vlog just posted in my media center.
Pizza, Pizza, Pizza: Grimaldi’s Comes to Dallas!

Okay, I talked about bicycles in a recent vlog now I am going on about pizza????  I wish I could cover this one up by saying how this place completely specializes in quality pizza, as I do on facial plastic surgery.  Or how this guide could help my out-of-town patients (not from New York) who want to try quality pizza (and especially my in-town patients) but alas all of this is just a bit of a stretch.  I just want to talk about pizza here.  As you probably would guess, I am a foodie and I really love a quality pie, which is hard to find in Dallas.  After 6 years in New York, I have become quite the pizza snob and was totally excited to hear that my favorite pizza ever has just opened right here in Dallas on December 17, 2007.

5th Vlog on Brows, Bags, Balloons, and the Shoreline

Okay, I’m on a real roll here. Â This is my second vlog of the day. Â I put together this vlog (again launch my media center to watch the video) to help people understand why traditional eyelid surgery is so very wrong in almost all cases. Â I use a shoreline analogy to help someone understand how aging occurs in the lower eyelid and a balloon deflation for the upper eyelid and brow area.
