anti-aging and vitality center of dallas detox

As you know, my building is dedicated to comprehensive 360 wellness with luxury, relaxation, and aesthetics only a portion of the total picture.  I wanted to share with you my mother’s ongoing detox story upstairs at the Anti-Aging and Vitality Center of Dallas.  She was feeling quite ill from her initial detox experience with her tongue breaking out.  She was further evaluated and found to have Lyme’s disease as the source of much of her problem, which she did not even know she had.  With reflection, she thought back to her past and remembered a severe tick bite that may have incited the condition.  She has been on antibiotics for the past 2 months and will complete a 6-month course.  Interestingly, after 2 months of therapy, her tongue is now completely healed and she says she feels better than she has ever done in her lifetime.  Interestingly too, she gets a microinfusion intravenous therapy every other week and for the first time a week ago she asked me, “I taste this bitterness in the back of my throat and nose for the first time.  Do you have that?”  I explained to her that I have had that sensation from my very first microinfusion therapy.  I was explained by Dr. Linda Ho upstairs that people with a strong immune system and healthy balance to their nutrients have so much vitamin load in their body that it seeps out into the back of their nose and mouth.  So it is an amazing correlation that my mother who has been receiving microinfusion therapy now for several months finally could literally taste the medicine when her mouth and body have been healed.  It is also a miracle that she was caught with Lyme disease before it became symptomatic.  I can only think of the brain, heart, joint, and other problems in the coming years if she was not properly diagnosed, and she has been getting physical evaluations by an M.D. for years now.  (Btw, the image of the bunny sticking out his tongue is there because I thought it was funny and represents my mom’s tongue healing.)

foot detox in plano texas north of dallas texas

Just wanted to share with you guys one of the services that I will be offering in my new spa opening on June 5th, Japanese foot detox!!!  Wow, I just experienced it for myself and as you see in this photo (not my feet) there is tremendous crap that comes out of the feet.  I got the orange and green junk that poured out.  Wow, I did not know I was that bad off.  I will be doing this 2 to 3 times a week until I am clean.  Follow that with foot reflexology (which I did) and wow what an experience.  Okay enough wows, but I was wowed!  All of the heavy metal toxins, etc. really just poured out of my feet.  It was totally gross.  I can’t believe it.  If you want to schedule a time before my spa opens, you can do it:  call 972-312-8189.  I promise you will be blown away!   I am not kidding.

NEW LOGO DESIGN FOR 10TH INTERNATIONAL SYMPOSIUM OF FACIAL PLASTIC SURGERY

10th International Symposium of Facial Plastic Surgery proposed logo

I couldn’t think of a blog to write so I decided to share with you a logo that I designed for next year’s 10th International Symposium of Facial Plastic Surgery to be held in Miami, Florida.  The International Symposium is held every 4 years and draws close to a 1000 facial plastic surgeons from across the entire world.  The last meeting was held in Las Vegas in 2005.  I am part of the steering committee for the upcoming Miami meeting and on my conference call last Wednesday I heard that we needed a logo specific for the meeting.  As I am very proud of my academy (AAFPRS- American Academy of Facial Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery), I wanted to offer my design services for free, hopefully saving the academy some money in hiring an outside creative firm.

My intention when designing the logo was to combine the specialness of the 10th event, the specialness of having international facial plastic surgeons, and miami’s flavor into my design work.  I wanted also expressly to move away from the 9th’s logo that had a face profile (boring!!!).  Accordingly, I came up with the logo that uses “FPS” for facial plastic surgery with the central “P” doubling for the number “10″.  I made the F and S a little funkier to capture some of the Miami feeling which the color scheme does too (think Miami Vice and Art Deco).  The more cursive script also contrasts with the blockier “P” to make the “10″ aspect stand out more.  I then put the logo into a quick brochure mockup trying to pull one’s interest into the geography of Miami if the prospective surgeon was going to bring family there.  I was going to use “Feel the Heat” but clearly that has a tremendously negative connotation for Miami.  I thought about the latin rhythms so I came up with “Spice it Up in Miami”.  Okay, my committee might ultimately burn my idea but I thought it was fun to show you guys a mockup of my work.  I am always proud of my designs even if they never see the light of day!
