Wow, nice logo! I love the flower petals; they’re tall and turgid and just the perfect symbol for vitality. The all-caps font is clean, youthful and upright, and I like how it provides a base of support for the flower. Also, the two blue shades complement each other nicely.

Have you given any thought to starting your own graphic design business? I’m sure some of your plastic surgery colleagues would love to have nice logos for their practices.

Thanks so much. Those are kind remarks. I am always flattered when anyone appreciates my artwork. I only do logos for people in my building, and I never charge for it. The joy of art for me is not to have to design multiple versions for someone and have them choose. I do one design that moves me, and you can take it or leave it. My sister is a graphic artist and she has to give her client choices. That I cannot do. All of my art is very personal. I do not allow people to have choices with it. I design it and if you like it, it’s yours free. If not, I’m fine if you don’t choose it.

Yes, I see what you’re saying. For many people artwork is about personal expression which is often incompatible with money and business. I actually regret making my comments above as I didn’t realize that this logo was more a product of your creativity/personal interest than a strategic decision to create the most commercially appealing design. I apologize if I offended you in any way.

I feel very strongly that artwork created for oneself is neither good nor bad.

No, no, no…as I stated, I am FLATTERED by your comments. When ANYONE favorably responds to my artwork I GET VERY EXCITED. Thank you for the kind remarks.
